Revealing The New RR Model The Range Rover Velar

The Newest Range Rover Velar Unveiled – Land Rover has announced the newest addition to the RR family, the all-new model would be the fourth member of the luxurious lineup and it’ll be called the Range Rover Velar.

The medium-sized Velar would be unveiled at the World premier Motor Show in London on March.

Land Rover’s chief design officer, Gerry McGovern, said: “We call the Velar the avant garde Range Rover. It brings a new dimension of glamour, modernity and elegance to the brand.”

“The Range Rover Velar changes everything,” he added.

The new Range Rover takes its name from the original RR prototypes from the 1960s. Back then, Land Rover tells us, development engineers needed to shroud the first RR to conceal its identity and keep it a secret, and chose the name because it derives from the Latin ‘velare’. Which means ‘veil’, or ‘cover’.

Although the prize tag for the new velar has not been stated, but it is thought the Velar would cost around £45,000. The teaser photo showed that the Velar is larger than the Evogue but smaller than the brothers the Sport and the flagship Range Rover. Still seeking to stick around the market which taste for luxury versions of big and yet shapely automobiles.
