Apple Titan – Will The New Apple Self-Driving Car Be The Revolution Of Auto Industry?

With the public revelation of the letter Apple penned to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the US Traffic Regulators, on testing a self-driving car project “apple titan”, the rumor is now intensified about the company shifting attention to automobile system.

But the question, will auto-driving car be the revolution of the auto industry remains something only future will tell.

Apple which have started high machine learning investment and automation study described the new self-driving project to be entitled Apple Titan.

The company CEO Tim Cook while answering some questions during the Apple’s Q4 2016 financial results, neither denied nor confirmed the self-driving car rumor. Rather he said that Apple “always looks for ways that we can improve the experience and the customers’ experience on different sets of products”.

Guess this could be seen that customers will be looking forward to having an entirely new level of experience with the car having easy navigation system, GPS, great cabin and music console. There has been significant societal benefits of automated vehicles, Apple also acknowledged. Ranging from the automatic parking features which have been seen in some other brands, Tesla and Google seem to be in the same path to giving customers automatic cars with auto-drive features.

The big question is when will all of these come to reality? This is a question only future holds!!!
