The Nigerian Police (formally the Nigerian Police Force) is becoming a really cool employment-wise. The salary is considerable. And you’re pretty confident you will get it at the end of every month.
In total, the Nigerian police are responsible for peace and order in the country. The police force number consists of about 372 000 people but this number is not enough to prevent all the criminal cases.
This is why it was recently approved that the police staff will increase to about 650 000 police officers.

The highest rank in the Nigeria Police Force is the Inspector General of Police. He is appointed by the president and can be sacked by him also. The IGP is usually appointed on a four-year term.
