Ja Rule Breaks Silence on Fyre Festival: ‘It Was Not a Scam’.

Ja Rule is breaking his silence on the failed Fyre Festival, which was cancelled after reports of terrible conditions, poor housing, and more.

“I’m heartbroken … it was NOT A SCAM as everyone is reporting. I don’t know how everything went so left but I’m working to make it right by making sure everyone is refunded,” the 41-year-old rapper said in a statement on his Twitter.

Ja Rule also added that he’s working on “getting everyone (off) the island SAFE.”
